Lore of the World of Twilight:
Eras ago many races came together to battle over the Twilight Portal. What is beyond the Twilight Portal is the World of Twilight, where all power is held. If this power got into the wrong hands, the universe itself could collapse. The Twilight Portal is guarded by mighty guardians which even the most powerful warrior has fallen to his knees trying to face. The Twilight Portal is also guarded by the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Dark. The Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Dark battle the Portal Guardians for the privilege to enter the Twilight Portal.
